Mission
ProVeronaGuide has been established in 2020 to offer any visitor the chance to approach Verona with the institutional figure designed for it: the Licensed Tourist Guide. Pro=For.. Verona, which deserves to be presented the best possible way.
Hence ProVeronaGuide promotes not only its own tours but also the ones organised by the local Tourist Information Office, which are particularly cheap. And prides itself to provide all single travelers and couples with the chance to take part to its best tour (High Quality Tour of the town centre) offered as a semiprivate one.
Those who book tours with ProVeronaGuide will not be led by self-styled guides able yes to let them feel very welcomed but lacking the requested competence, licence and ethical code (abusive guides): Pro= Professional approach for the visitors.
ProVeronaGuide offers NO FREE TOURS (Who does that does not take into consideration neither the obvious fiscal aspect of such an economic activity nor the obviuos need for a profession like this one to get paid for its work).
Local Licensed Tourist Guides: the institutional Verona’s interpreters
The institutional role of a Tourist Guide is to interprete the architectonical and urban elements like streets, squares, buildings, artworks in the interest of visitors. They acquire the term “licensed” when complying with local legislation which in case of Verona binds such a profession with a license to be granted upon a specific set of exams in order to certify the preparation.
Due to present European legislation, You could be shown Verona by a Guide who got licensed somewhere in the EU despite of having never been to Verona before.
ProVeronaGuide cooperates only with Tourist Guides certified by Provincia di Verona and eventually with those Veronese Guides who got licensed elsewhere due to the lack of exams organised locally as from 2013.
We all have in common an endless passion for Verona.
Your 100% local Licensed Tourist Guide in Verona

Born and raised in Verona I have had the pleasure to live three years in the UK at the time of my graduation in Economics, and a couple of years in central Italy before discovering the urgent need to get back home and get to know it as much as possible. I therefore managed to be licensed as a Tourist Guide and as a Guida Naturalistico-Ambientale by the local Tourist Board (Provincia di Verona). I am the founder of the “ProVeronaGuide” but also a husband and a father.
